NMA LogoThe improvements to the memorial include two new engraved marble panels depicting the test sites. The brass plaques that used to be on the benches by the memorial will also be fixed to the new memorial and there is an opportunity for anyone wishing to purchase a brass plaque in memory of their loved one for mounting on the memorial.

These improvements and the provision of the event are all courtesy of the NCCF through it’s Remembrance project.

If you have a direct connection to the memorial at Alrewas; you may have attended the very first dedication ceremony of the old memorial or have some other connection to this special place, we would love to hear from you. The Remembrance project is developing an online museum and we want to collect as many memories and images as possible to fill the virtual museum.
