In the August 2020 edition of Exposure Magazine, the trustees of the Nuclear Community Charity Fund (“NCCF”) published on page 13 and online an article titled ‘Stolen Documents – Report from NCCF Trustee Board’ (“the Article”).
The Article made the allegation that Mr Alan John Owen, former chairperson of the British Nuclear Test Veterans Association, had stolen documents from the NCCF.
Mr Owen accepts that he wrote various articles under the pseudonym Slaine McRoth.
The NCCF now accepts that Mr Owen did not steal the documents.
The parties have resolved their differences and have agreed to remove the article in the hope that they can now focus on the good work that they all undertake for the Veterans of Nuclear Testing.
